It is very organic and fluid; love the way all the models move like animals, the photographs are very instinctual and natural. The series is made even more mysterious by the presence of the moon in most of them.

Only just saw the video for this amazing song and had to post it. I adore Hayley Williams; I think she's beautiful with great style and attitude.

Love the light in this video and the whimsical style, and the way it contrasts with the darkness of the song lyrics.

MoreObsession

Another art post, about drapery again. I made myself a dress and modelled it, in order to capture the effects of different environments on the fabric. We photographed it in the night here, and I think the results look really ethereal and magical! Because the flash was too harsh, the camera automatically exposed the photos for longer to let more light in, which is how the blurry effect was achieved. Completely on purpose of course.

Art Project

Photos I took for our project on obsession about a certain object; mine was a Greek statue of the Goddess of Love, Aphrodite. I find the drapery and fabric on Greek statues amazing; the detail the sculptors created is inspirational.

I created these photos by projecting an animation I had created, by scanning my scarf into Photoshop and going through the colours of the spectrum, onto my model. I wanted to capture the effect of the folds of the fabric on her body and her clothes; as if she were wearing it.

Skype high fashion shoot. I love this concept, the pictures are beautiful. It really comes across as high fashion but also has the intimate, non commercial feel of webcam shots which is a nice change from normal fashion photography. However, I don't really think the photographer is doing as much work with this method as he usually would!

I got a seriously amazing new camera for my birthday. The Panasonic DMC-FZ28. I've never had a really good camera and I can't wait to start using it properly. My friend and I are planning a photo-taking day round Cardiff soon, for the meanwhile, these are some pics I took of stuff left over from my birthday.
